Community input is critical in shaping the vision and goals for the City of Canton. We invite you to share feedback throughout the project – whether that means attending upcoming meetings, participating online or by contacting our team. Cities are places where people can live, learn, work, visit and play. They should offer a wide range of services - schools, parks, health care, stores, restaurants and transportation, to name just a few. Cities that are vibrant and attractive are where residents, visitors and businesses want to be. City Planning works with the community and other City divisions to set goals and policies for development, while keeping important social, economic and environmental concerns in mind.Good planning leads to orderly growth and helps us to have the type of community we want.
Your participation is important. Take a couple of minutes to offer your ideas and help shape your city’s future! Your answers to our online questions will help us understand what you like about your city and what changes you would like to see take place. Below you will find three easy ways to participate. You are also invited to join us on the First and Third Thursday each month for City Council Meetings.
Open Questions is another page of the website that allows participants to share their thoughts. Let us know what we are doing well and where we need improvement.
